Autumn Walking Tour 2015

10/09/2015

Our group of 17 employees started by train to Blaubeuren early in the morning. There we began the walking tour of 13 km, at a temperature of 8 degrees in the fog. However, when mounting to the castle Rusen the first sun rays came through. Arriving at the top we were rewarded with a brilliant blue sky. The sight was first misty but every minute we could discover more details in the valley.

We continued the tour to the viewpoint “Nägelesfels” where we had our snacks. The whole group gathered at the “Rommel-monument” near Herrlingen to walk together to the next station. There we went by bus to Ulm where we visited the castle “Wilhelmsburg”. During a guided tour we got a lot of information about the fortification and insight in some unusual rooms there over and under the ground.

The day was completed by a pleasant stop in a nice restaurant. We spent a nice day – both weather and atmosphere were splendid!
