She started her career at BLANK on 18 May 1981. Exactly to the day 40 years later, a small anniversary celebration with colleagues and management took place on 18 May 2021.
"At that time, the exact job title was "order preparation clerk". Today, as product data manager, she is responsible for maintaining the master data," explains Johannes Tittor, head of the order centre at BLANK, in his speech. He is now Agathe's boss, the third in her career. When she started working at BLANK, there were still under 100 employees. Today, more than 500 people work at BLANK. "A lot has changed, but I've always enjoyed my work and had great colleagues and I'm grateful for that," she explains. Agathe is characterised by her reliability, her ambition and her accuracy. Her boss, Mr. Tittor, was able to experience this himself when he was still a trainee in the work preparation department. "I wish this experience for our future trainees as well," he says laughingly, "Especially how impressively fast Agathe entered commands into the programme and was faster than the programme itself." Before her, only eight other people in the company's history have celebrated a 40-year anniversary. This achievement deserves the highest praise and recognition, emphasized Managing Director Hubert Deutsch in his speech and expressed his gratitude for the many years in the company.
Johannes Tittor presented a certificate from the company with a gift, as well as the certificate of honour from the IHK Ulm (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and a gift from her colleagues, which the passionate cyclist can use for her favourite hobby or another wonderful occasion.
"We all wish Agathe all the best, especially good health, and look forward to continuing to work with her." At the end, the jubilarian thanked the present colleagues for the wonderful time: "For me, the company is not just a workplace. I have always had the luck to work with great colleagues, so I have always enjoyed coming to work.“ Unfortunately, a big celebration was not possible due to Corona. However, an alternative was created with bar tables and snacks to be able to celebrate this jubilee in an appropriate corona-compliant setting.
