The decision for an apprenticeship is never easy, this is also known by Ellen Schwörer from HR management. "We were all the more pleased that, after two years of pandemic, it was possible for us to present our company and the development opportunities in our house at three training fairs!” After the kick-off fair in the Realschule Riedlingen (secondary school) which took place in April still with visitor restrictions, followed the fairs Future4You in Biberach and the Top Job in Ehingen.
"The direct exchange between the trainees and the pupils is particularly valuable for us at the fairs," says Schwörer, "Of course, we are always available for questions and can also be reached by phone, but at a fair there is a completely different dialogue." Training contents can be discussed directly using illustrative materials, or concrete activities and workpieces can be shown. "We trainers are therefore always supported by a group of trainees at vocational training fairs which is very important to us." More events are planned in the coming months. "As long as the infection situation allows, we will continue to be present at fairs. In addition, we are also upgrading in the digital area." The conclusion for the past events is positive in the fair organization team: "we had many good conversations and were able to give a great insight into the training at BLANK," reports trainer Michael Fay, "A really successful training fair summer!"
