Studying while working: the students at SRH Fernhochschule are facing this project. An undertaking that is associated with many challenges. The BLANK-Group likes to support this and therefore sponsors students at SRH Fernhochschule within the framework of the Deutschlandstipendium. Through a federal initiative, the Deutschlandstipendium provides monthly funding, which is then supplemented by companies such as the BLANK-Group.
This year, Luisa Leinweber can look forward to a small financial injection. She is studying psychology in the Master's programme at SRH Fernhochschule. "I would like to thank you very much for the support in connection with the Deutschlandstipendium, which offers funding regardless of political orientation and denomination," explains Luisa Leinweber, "Everyone can apply, so I also dared to try this year and was rewarded for it. I decided to study at SRH Fernhochschule last year because it allows me to ideally combine my Master's degree with gaining work experience. Personally, I didn't want to choose between further study and my job, as I think that theory and practice are equally relevant." In addition to the numerous advantages, however, the combination of studies and profession was also accompanied by difficulties. "Among other things, studying is a financial challenge for me," says Leinweber, "The scholarship now gives me the freedom to let go of one or two worries and focus on my goals as well as shaping my professional future."
"For the Blank family it is important to support young adults on their educational path. Among others, we do this through our BLANK Foundation," explains Juliane Blank, Managing Director of BLANK HOLDING GmbH. Studying part-time alongside a job and family is particularly time-consuming and exhausting. "This is where we can and want to help and at least make the financial component of the studies easier for the students. We wish Ms Leinweber and the students at SRH Fernhochschule continued success in their studies and are pleased to be able to contribute to this success through the Deutschlandstipendium."
