Rainy weather and autumn temperatures couldn’t prevent eight motivated teams from competing athletically with their colleagues last Saturday. It was the first time that the youth and trainee representatives organized a BLANK penalty kick tournament. "Regarding all the negative issues like corona, the war in Europe or the now looming energy price increases, all of which directly or indirectly affect the company and each individual, it was important to us to organize an event where, finally, keeping together, the "we-feeling” and the shared fun are the top priority," reports Christian Gaupp, Head of Human Resources Management and Training at BLANK. The youth representatives and the trainees offered a delicious barbecue and lovely cakes. The eight teams obviously enjoyed this sportive competition and their creative team names made all participants and spectators smile.
After short three hours the winners were determined. The first three teams received vouchers for team activities like bowling, adventure golf and climbing park. The other teams got a certificate and sweets. Managing Director Juliane Blank distributed the prizes and was happy about the commitment of the present employees. "It's nice that an event like this is possible again without corona restrictions," she explained, "I was especially pleased with the high number of team registrations, despite the mixed weather. Great thanks to everyone who organized the tournament."
