From 1st to 5th April everything was about the topic industry on the Hanover Fair. The organizers welcomed 6,500 exhibitors from 75 participating countries, who presented their versatile products and services to a professional audience of 215,000 visitors. Among the exhibitors was also the BLANK Group which gave interesting insights into the world of investment casting in Hall 3, Stand K28. The company's guiding theme was "SMART SERVICE: breaking new ground with lightweight construction, new materials, Digital Twin and 3D printing and achieving joint success". Eyecatcher and example for lightweight at the booth was a racing car of the Global Formula Racing Team of the Dual University DHBW Ravensburg. Together with the students a smart lightweight solution for the wheel carriers of a racing car has already been realized in the past.
The exhibit and the main theme attracted great interest among the visitors. "The topic SMART SERVICE and the resulting requirements of our customers are more topical than ever", reports Alfred Brückner, Sales Manager at FEINGUSS BLANK, "This was also demonstrated in a specialist lecture on the subject of lightweight construction in investment casting at the trade fair, in which Mrs Julia Eggert, Head of Project Management at BLANK, and I discussed the challenges and previous achievements regarding lightweight construction in investment casting.”
Looking back, the trade fair team of the BLANK Group draws a positive balance. Manuela Schmid, Marketing / PR Consultant at BLANK, said: "Many interesting discussions were held and several enquiries were already generated at the trade fair stand. There were exciting technical discussions at the stand and networking around the lecture "Lightweight Construction in Investment Casting" provided a good opportunity for exchange."
