The ground-breaking on 14th May 2018 was the start for the construction of plant 4 which shall enlarge the production area at BLANK.
The managing board of FEINGUSS BLANK GmbH as well as persons responsible for the project, the managing directors of the constructing company Fritschle and the architects of the new building gathered on the construction ground for the ceremony.
Mr. Ingo Bitzer, managing director of FEINGUSS BLANK, mentioned happily the smooth and fast planning of the new building and wished all project partners much success for the upcoming implementation period!
In plant 4 a new innovative production line will be created for mechanical treatment and assembly. Here our own casting products will be machined according to our customers’ wishes and completed to assemblies in a modern machine park. “The new building shall be a first important step towards the Digital Factory. So besides the enlargement of the production, plant 4 also serves for testing new automation possibilities and smart working conditions. It is our aim to create a more efficient production and discover new ways of working with the Digital Factory.” On a production area of about 2700 m² we will establish production lines in which humans and robots work hand in hand. It is planned to move into the new building in the second quarter 2019.
