In Alleshausen the regional well-known and popular vocational training fair took place last Friday for the 8th time. The motto was “Work is future”. The Amitié Club, organizer of this event, was happy about the participation of numerous companies and institutes which took this opportunity to present more than 70 training professions and over 30 study courses. Among the companies was also the BLANK Group which has already taken part in this fair from the very beginning. “Our enterprise meanwhile offers 10 training professions and four dual study courses,” explains Christian Gaupp, Head of the BLANK Academy. So it is more important than ever to give the pupils an understanding of the many possibilities of training and the versatility of the professions and to get the young people enthusiastic about these. A team of trainees and students was available at the company’s stand for dialogs and answering questions. Among them was Manuel Schmid who could especially answer technical questions regarding the training elements. “Meanwhile I do my second year of training at BLANK and it is a pleasure to inform about my experiences.”
Before the fair, the trainees had the possibility to take part in a training in order to be well prepared for the first vocational training fair. “It is important for us that our team thinks of possible questions before the fair,” says Gaupp. “Also they remember very well which questions they had themselves before starting an apprenticeship and so can specifically respond to these themes.”
Naike Nassal, Head of Human Resources Management at BLANK, draws a positive balance after the fair: “There were many good conversations at the fair stand. The BLANK Group can still offer training places for the start of the apprenticeship in 2020 and we are always happy about pupils who like to get insight into the BLANK world. In this case there is the possibility to get a first impression by doing an internship.”
