In response to the awarding of the Innovation Prize by the Federal Association of the German Foundry Industry (BDG), the BLANK-Group received a monetary gift from the city of Riedlingen. The BDG Innovation Award was given for outstanding achievements and sustainable innovations in the field of material and process development. The city of Riedlingen also wanted to honor this commitment and the quality of further development in the company. "The company makes an important contribution to the city and the business location of Riedlingen," explains mayor Marcus Schafft, "It was therefore important to us to express our thanks and recognition for what has been achieved. We wish BLANK continued success for its work as a dynamic and innovative company."
Marcus Schafft and Tamara Ortmann, who is responsible for business development, visited the company for the gift presentation. "We were very pleased about the appointment and the appreciation of the city," emphasizes managing director Alexander Lenert, "As the largest employer in Riedlingen, it is important for us to strengthen the region." The amount of money received will benefit the trainees of the BLANK-Group and will be used for upcoming trainee campaigns.
