FEINGUSS BLANK GmbH at the Hannover Fair
FEINGUSS BLANK GmbH takes part in the Hannover Fair as exhibitor also this year.
Enterprises from all over the world present their latest developments and services in over 20 halls.
This year FEINGUSS BLANK concentrates on four main topics:
- Functional integration
- Lightweight construction
- Digital Twin
Under the slogan “SMART SERVICE” BLANK shows what can be possible in investment casting and metal processing with the four mentioned development novelties and how we can take advantage of the new technologies.
The BLANK-ID which will be introduced at the fair is an integrated codemark which ensures a complete traceability of all production information over the whole lifetime of a product.
This technology has been already awarded with the “Innovator of the Year Award” by the US
Investment Casting Institute (ICI) and with the Industriepreis 2018 as “BEST OF” in the category
With functional integration the company demonstrates that the production of an optimized part geometry is often more efficient and cost-effective by investment casting than a part produced by cutting. The visitors will be happy about the versatile examples introduced by our booth staff.
With the topic lightweight construction the experts of FEINGUSS BLANK will show how to optimize the shape of investment casting parts with regard to the stress they will have to withstand during their final application, by using modern simulation programmes.
Mr. Peter Wenzel, application engineer, will give an interesting lecture within the Integrated lightweight Plaza at the Hannover Fair, hall 5, booth E48 on Thursday, 26th April 2018, 15-15.30 h.
The focus of the lecture is on how to realize the optimal lightweight construction geometry through calculation and simulation at FEINGUSS BLANK.
The fourth main topic Digital Twin is about simulations and calculations to recognize improvement potentials and use them before an investment casting part is even produced.
Beside the topology optimization which is already used in the lightweight construction, a casting and solidification simulation, the FEM calculation and the material simulation provide an optimal manufacturing result.
Interested? We look forward to seeing you at our booth Hall 3, Stand J28!
