1480 years at BLANK - many years of commitment and solidarity. ”Every year we are delighted to see how many employees have been with our company so many years,” says managing director Hubert Deutsch. “This year we have again an employee with 40 years of service and even four employees with 35 years of service in our rows.” The 30-years anniversaries are also impressive: Eight employees can celebrate this anniversary.
A ceremony is unfortunately not possible in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. For this very reason, it is more important than ever for the company to value the achievements of its employees. As a sign of recognition the BLANK medals, introduced last year, will be presented again this year by the superior.
"An anniversary in the company, if 10 or even 40 years, is always an impressive achievement and also the best assessment and feedback to us managers, the company and the entrepreneurial spirit of the Blank family," explains Juliane Blank, who as managing director of BLANK Holding, represents the interests of the family in the management. "When the company was founded 60 years ago, my grandfather Wilhelm Blank has already attached great importance to a good, appreciative working atmosphere and the involvement of the employees." This was also demonstrated in 1974 by the introduction of an employee profit-sharing scheme that gives all employees a share of the company’s success.
"Staying with the company when it is doing economically well is one thing," says Deutsch. "But it says much more when the employees of the BLANK-Group remain loyal and stick together even in challenging times. Fortunately there are a lot of these employees at BLANK. The management cordially congratulates all jubilarians on their personal day of celebration and looks forward to a continued successful cooperation."
