Texmo Blank Germany (formerly the BLANK-Group) was able to celebrate a quality anniversary in 2023: 40 years of membership in the German Society for Quality (DGQ). For the ceremonial presentation Michael Hartmann, Head of the Compliance department, welcomed Marco Gutöhrlein from the DGQ Stuttgart office. "I am delighted to congratulate Texmo Blank Germany today on 40 years of membership," he explained in his speech, "We would like to thank you for your loyalty, support and solidarity when it comes to the topic of quality." The DGQ was founded in 1952 with the aim of consolidating quality assurance as a central component in companies. In addition, the platform has been at the forefront since the beginning as a basis for exchange, to build up a network and thus to be able to master important everyday challenges in quality management.
"We are pleased to have the DGQ as a strong partner to support us with important issues," says Hartmann, because one thing is very clear, "quality management, the processes and the requirements are constantly changing, and my job looks very different today than it did 20 years ago." Marco Gutöhrlein also recognises a generational change in quality management, "A lot has changed - including how issues are approached. But constant change is important and necessary to satisfy our customers!" After the presentation of the certificates, there was still time for a stimulating exchange of ideas on new DGQ services. "We thank you very much for the certificate and Mr. Gutöhrlein's visit," concluded Mr. Hartmann, "I am already looking forward to future collaboration and many more years of mutual support with the DGQ."
